This past February, we had the pleasure of participating in The Wedding Crasher’s Tour in Richmond, Virginia. The Wedding Crasher’s Tour is a non-traditional bridal show. During the tour, guests are chauffeured from various local venues. Each venue is set-up and styled as if it were a real wedding. Guests experience “a wedding” first hand, and have the opportunity to talk to each vendor about their services. It’s Pinterest in real life! This year, guests started at The John Marshall Hotel to kick-off the tour and then traveled to Quirk Hotel, The Branch Museum and The Frontier Project.
We were super happy to be placed on Team Quirk! Quirk Hotel is the newest wedding venue in Richmond, Virginia! It is a boutique hotel located in Richmond’s Art District, Jackson Ward. It offers a few different unique and beautiful event locations throughout the space — including a soon-to-open rooftop space with gorgeous views of downtown Richmond.
Fête Weddings spearheaded our venue as the planners & stylists. They approached us with a Wes Anderson inspired theme. Think bold colors, geometric patterns and vintage details. From there we designed this fun invitation suite! The suite includes a bold geometric pattern, modern typography, a custom logo and a custom map (of downtown Richmond). We also designed miscellaneous day-of signage to showcase a cohesive/branded look and feel! The day-of signage includes a menu card, table number cards and food signage.
A big thank you to all of the talented vendors that pulled this together!
