Spring is here! Flowers are blooming, temperatures are rising and wedding season has arrived! For us, that means tackling wedding day-of signage for our April and May weddings!
In the midst of wedding season, we were excited to see some of our day-of signage featured on Tidewater and Tulle last week! The styled shoot was inspired by the grounds of Tuckahoe Plantation. Tuckahoe Plantation is a gorgeous wedding venue located in Richmond, VA and is rich in history. It is the boyhood home of Thomas Jefferson. Our sister company, Fête Weddings, spearheaded the planning & design! The overall style is very romantic with an added modern twist. Purple florals and loose, organic greenery by Nature Composed compliment the venue’s luscious gardens. A tribal ikat runner from BBJ Linen added that special touch to the table setting! Candy Valley Cake Company created a stunning, yet minimalistic cake. The list goes on. Each vendor nailed it on their contributing piece to the puzzle.
For the stationery, we collaborated with Written Word Calligraphy! Karla’s beautiful lettering style worked so perfectly with Fête Wedding’s overall vision. Our favorite detail of the invitation suite was the custom illustration of Tuckahoe Plantation. Swoon! Karla, you’re so incredibly talented!
To contribute additional stationery details, we designed day-of signage for the shoot. Last minute paper goods, like menu cards and table numbers, add such a nice detail to any event! Our designs played off of the ikat runner and Written Word’s elegant invitation suite.
